Celebrate timeless artistry with Vanajyotsnar – a magnificent navy blue Vanasingaram Kanchi silk cotton saree featuring an enchanting Ganga Jamuna rettai pet border. Adorned with intricate Vanasingaram motifs of flora and fauna, this masterpiece brings alive the spirit of temple traditions and regal craftsmanship.

Woven in the heritage town of Kanchipuram, Vanajyotsna blends the lustrous richness of silk with the lightness of cotton, making it both luxurious and breathable. The dual-tone rettai pet borders in vibrant pink and golden mustard elevate the saree’s grandeur, while the detailed zari work adds divine opulence.

This saree comes with an unstitched blouse piece in contrasting pink, giving you the perfect canvas to style it traditionally or with a modern twist.

Part of Kleemkaara’s Kanchipuram Heritage Weaves collection, Vanajyotsna is more than a saree – it is a celebration of South Indian temple traditions, handloom mastery, and sustainable fashion.

First Wash
Add a handful of non-iodised salt to cold water and soak your saree for 20–30 minutes before the first wash. This locks the dye into the fabric. If some colour bleeds into the water — don't worry, that is simply excess dye releasing, a natural trait of plant-based and natural dyes. Proceed with hand wash or a gentle machine cycle after soaking.
Hand Wash
Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent or raw shikakai/soap nut solution.
Machine Wash
If machine washing, set to Gentle or Delicate mode with low spin. Place the saree in a mesh laundry bag for added protection.
Wash Separately
Wash dark and bright colours separately for the first 2–3 washes to prevent colour transfer.
No Wringing
Do not twist or wring. Gently press out excess water and roll the saree in a soft dry towel to absorb moisture.
Dry in Shade
Always dry in shade, away from direct sunlight. Direct sun can fade natural dyes and weaken silk threads over time.
Steam Iron or Low Heat
Iron on low to medium heat on the reverse side. For silk sarees, place a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric. Avoid steam on zari or metallic borders.
Dry Clean for Special Weaves
Pure silk, heavy zari work, and festival sarees are best dry cleaned to preserve their lustre and structure.
Storage
Fold along the original fold lines and store in a muslin cloth — never plastic. Refold every few months to avoid permanent crease marks. Tuck in a neem leaf or herbal sachet to naturally deter insects.
Natural fibres breathe, age, and tell stories — a little care keeps them alive for generations.

Orders are processed and shipped the next working day. Delivery takes 2–7 working days depending on your location.
