Pravaḷā is a radiant peach handloom cotton saree exquisitely detailed with traditional Kantha embroidery. Inspired by the coral hues of dawn and the rich embroidery heritage of Bengal, this saree is a poetic blend of colour, craft, and culture.

The body is adorned with dainty floral Kantha stitches and ornamental vines, while the pallu blooms with hand-embroidered patterns in soft green and teal bands — including flowers, paisleys, leaves, and free-form abstract motifs. Each stitch is a mark of the artisan’s dedication and story.

Crafted in breathable cotton fabric and devoid of any metallic zari, Pravaḷā drapes lightly and gracefully, making it ideal for daytime festivities, summer celebrations, or mindful gifting. The contrast orange border adds a subtle vibrancy, completing this earthy, elegant ensemble.

Procedure for Returns and Refunds(Only in India):


Customers are eligible to request a return or refund within 48 hours of receiving their order. To initiate the process, please reach out to us at bhagyalakshmihandloomemporium@gmail.com with the necessary documentation, including your order name, order number, and an uncut (continuous) video of the parcel opening, clearly displaying any damages. 

 

Important Points to Consider:


1. Do not accept any package that shows signs of tampering. Kindly verify the quality and quantity of the items with the invoice before accepting the delivery from the courier agency.

2. Minor aberrations like missing thread, over thread are not considered as damage

Refunds, Exchanges, and Cancellations:


Once we receive and inspect your return, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Please be aware that shipping costs are non-refundable, and the time it takes for your exchanged product to reach you may vary depending on your location. In the case of cancellations, please note that courier and transaction charges may be deducted before the order amount is refunded.

First Wash
Add a handful of non-iodised salt to cold water and soak your saree for 20–30 minutes before the first wash. This locks the dye into the fabric. If some colour bleeds into the water — don't worry, that is simply excess dye releasing, a natural trait of plant-based and natural dyes. Proceed with hand wash or a gentle machine cycle after soaking.
Hand Wash
Gently hand wash in cold water using a mild detergent or raw shikakai/soap nut solution.
Machine Wash
If machine washing, set to Gentle or Delicate mode with low spin. Place the saree in a mesh laundry bag for added protection.
Wash Separately
Wash dark and bright colours separately for the first 2–3 washes to prevent colour transfer.
No Wringing
Do not twist or wring. Gently press out excess water and roll the saree in a soft dry towel to absorb moisture.
Dry in Shade
Always dry in shade, away from direct sunlight. Direct sun can fade natural dyes and weaken silk threads over time.
Steam Iron or Low Heat
Iron on low to medium heat on the reverse side. For silk sarees, place a thin cloth between the iron and the fabric. Avoid steam on zari or metallic borders.
Dry Clean for Special Weaves
Pure silk, heavy zari work, and festival sarees are best dry cleaned to preserve their lustre and structure.
Storage
Fold along the original fold lines and store in a muslin cloth — never plastic. Refold every few months to avoid permanent crease marks. Tuck in a neem leaf or herbal sachet to naturally deter insects.
Natural fibres breathe, age, and tell stories — a little care keeps them alive for generations.
